The Atascadero Cowl is an effortless-to-wear shawl/cowl combo featuring a beautiful Aran Lace pattern and romantic lace edging.

Knit it in your favorite fingering weight yarn. It works up beautifully in a gradient yarn, as shown, or in solid, subtle semi-solid, or heathered yarns.

US 4 / 3.5 mm (your choice straight or circular needles), or size to obtain gauge

GAUGE

24.5 sts and 30.5 rows in 4" / 10 cm over cabled pattern, blocked. I recommend casting on and checking your gauge with Chart A. Gauge is important. Alterations in gauge will affect yarn requirements and finished size. NOTIONS yarn needle cable needles stitchmarkers as desired
